Recipes with cheese (cheddar)
This quiche recipe combines two of my favorite things: pinching pennies and amazing-tasting food. It’s thick and hearty, and can be served for breakfast, brunch or dinner.
I’ve been making Sliced Baked Potatoes for years. In fact, this was one of the first recipes I started making way back in my early teens!
These are versatile, hearty, and delicious. They are a fun way to dress up an ordinary potato!
I love all thing potato — and this recipe is no exception. It’s simple, frugal, gluten-free… and it tastes great! This is a perfect side dish to accompany all your upcoming summer cookouts — it pairs well with hamburgers or grilled meats. Kids and adults love it! I like to make it up early in the day and pull it out of the refrigerator shortly before baking it.
After the amazing success I had with the Crockpot Refried Beans from my new favorite blog, Pennies and Pancakes, I decided to try her Bean & Cheese Burrito recipe, too.
I like soups that are rich, creamy, and full of veggies and carbohydrates (who needs meat?). My husband, on the other hand, only eats soups that are hearty, meaty, and not rich (veggies optional).
This recipe is our happy compromise. The fact that it is inexpensive to make, feeds a crowd, and is full of ingredients you probably already have on hand means everyone wins!

This “recipe” is so simple that I don’t think it can even be called a recipe. However, these roll-ups are something fun and a little different to include in those back-to-school lunches. They also are an attractive, can’t-go-wrong addition to any table of finger foods.
